Purchased in usa summer 05, probably 04's model, but the models have not changed so much over the years. I went with my in chamonix and in the vemdalen. I had zero ice grip and zero stability in high speed on hard ground in the vemdalen week eight! It worked ash in short distances on the evening skiing, and therefore a good memory of it. It was a bad snow in Chamonix this season, so my belly and edges were right worn after the trip. Thought that's why it was so bad at high speed, tested almost no short-distance so I did not get that much out of my week in the Alps. I went with these skis in Chamonix week five for the first time (06) and I was convinced that my technique was bad and that I was calm.

I can’t help feeling these would be wasted on a beginner, however they would be good to grow into although you’d probably need longer skis as you improved … my honest advice for a complete beginner would be to rent (as much as I can’t bear the faff in a ski hire shop) you may improve very quickly. My son is 6 ft & skied on 170cm, so if he was a beginner maybe 155-160 cm. These seemed to be a very popular ski on the slopes - however everyone on them seemed to be at least an intermediate.Īre they suitable for a complete beginner? They are described as a ski suitable for all levels which seems hard to get my head round, perhaps on a relatively short ski is the way it works. I bought these for my 15 year old son tall but of slim build - he’s quite a good skier - he found the skis really easy to ski on & they seemed to ski well on all terrain. I WANT A SKI TO GO DOWN THE SKI WITH MY DAUGHTER CALMLY AND SAFELY.
